The Michigan Language Center (MLC) was founded in 1978 by Susan Hawley and Ira Fisher, both graduates of the University of Michigan. Their goal was to provide English language programs for University of Michigan students and graduates in Ann Arbor, the founders' hometown and MLC's home base. The school boasts a highly professional teaching staff and offers cultural and recreational excursions to top U.S. attractions, creating an ideal environment that inspires students to embrace learning with passion.
