Overview of the Promising "Wa'ed" Track

As a key initiative under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, the "Wa'ed" Track focuses on developing human capital in high-potential sectors while supporting private sector demands. It provides specialized training for Saudi youth—both men and women—at leading global companies within the Kingdom’s industrial and mining sectors.

Key Goals of the "Wa'ed" Track

Designed to empower students with advanced skills in emerging industries, the "Wa'ed" Track bridges workforce gaps and aligns with the broader objectives of the scholarship program and Saudi Vision 2030.

Partner Companies in the "Wa'ed" Track

Prominent Saudi firms, including Al Safi Danone, International Maritime Industries (IMI), Sanam, Marafiq, and SEERA, participate by hiring candidates, funding their overseas education per program guidelines, and retaining them post-graduation.

Wa'ed Track - Special Application Requirements:

  1. The applicant must be a Saudi national.
  2. The applicant must be of excellent conduct and behavior.
  3. The study must be conducted in the country of the educational institution's main headquarters.
  4. Full-time enrollment is required.
  5. Meeting Al Safi Danone’s selection standards (if applicable).
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  7. Minimum scores: IELTS 5, TOEFL iBT 51, PBT 466, or STEP 67.
  8. GPA of 2.75/4 or 3.75/5.
