Australia - Melbourne
Established in 1883 by founder Sydney Stott, Acknowledge Education (originally Stott’s Business College) pioneered specialized business training in Australia. Partnering with William Hoare, Stott introduced typewriting as a key skill of the era. In 1998, Acknowledge Education acquired the college, rebranding it as Stott’s College, now one of Australia’s oldest vocational institutes.
By 2013, Acknowledge Education grew to three main branches—Melbourne Language Centre, Front Cooking School, and Stott’s College—with locations in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, all managed from Acknowledge Education’s Melbourne headquarters.
Renowned for excellence in pre-university and higher education, the school also delivers English language courses exclusively in Melbourne and Perth.
Situated on Exhibition Street, the Melbourne Centre is a five-minute walk from Parliament Station and doubles as Acknowledge Education’s headquarters. Melbourne’s dynamic culture—celebrating sports, arts, and theater—frames the campus, with nearby attractions like the Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island’s penguins.
