Anglo-Continental is a family-run independent language school founded in 1950 by Fritz Schilling. Fritz began his journey in Christchurch, New Zealand, with a small loan from his father, a few tables, chairs, and a blackboard borrowed from Holy Trinity Church Hall. In 1955, the school moved to Bournemouth and became one of the largest language schools in Britain.
Since its establishment, Anglo-Continental has successfully taught over 400,000 students from 120 different countries, building a strong reputation for the quality of its teaching and services. The school offers international students the opportunity to combine learning English with exploring some of the world’s finest museums, galleries, and parks.
Anglo-Continental is located on Wimborne Road in Bournemouth, a quiet residential area close to the city center and beaches.
