Estudio Sampere

Spain - Madrid

Six Decades of Spanish Teaching Excellence Across Europe and Latin America

Founded in Madrid in 1956 by Isabel and Alberto Sampere, Estudio Sampere has been a pioneer in Spanish language education for over sixty years. The Sampere family’s legacy in running the school is built on decades of expertise. In 1992, the school welcomed its first international students in Salamanca, and three years later, it expanded to Cuenca, Ecuador—becoming one of the very first Spanish school in Latin America.

By 2000, the school had opened a new branch on the Mediterranean coast in Alicante, allowing students to combine learning with the charm of seaside living. Its fifth and final location followed in Havana, Cuba, offering a distinctly immersive cultural experience.

A Blend of Academic Rigor and Cultural Discovery

All Sampere campuses operate under a shared teaching philosophy and uniform quality standards. The school offers top-tier Spanish courses in both Spain and Latin America, enriched by cultural activities during the week and Saturday excursions. Instructors are native speakers and qualified linguists with deep experience teaching international learners, tailoring their approach to meet a wide range of objectives—from everyday communication to official exam preparation.

Madrid Campus: A Prime Location with First-Class Facilities

Situated in Madrid’s upscale Salamanca district, the school is just steps from metro stations Lista, Goya, Diego de León, and Manuel Becerra, as well as multiple bus routes. Retiro Park lies a pleasant 30-minute walk away. The neighborhood is famed for its elegant residents and high-end shopping streets—Goya, Serrano, Velázquez, and Ortega y Gasset—alongside renowned dining and café spots. The campus features nine comfortable classrooms with digital whiteboards and projectors, two lounges, a library, dining and coffee areas, and free Wi-Fi.

More Than Language: Madrid as a Transformative Destination

Madrid is often called a city of contrasts—rooted in tradition yet thoroughly modern, refined yet unpretentious. What truly defines it, however, is its open, inclusive, and global spirit. The city is compact enough to explore on foot, and its lively rhythm never feels rushed—turning every moment into a chance to fully embrace the experience.

Every street hums with energy, and every conversation with a local offers a chance to speak Spanish more naturally and confidently. Picture yourself sipping coffee and chatting with local people in the morning, then losing yourself in museums and markets, realizing that learning happens far beyond the classroom walls. Here, lessons become adventures, written exercises turn into real dialogue, and hesitation gives way to enthusiasm. So, take the leap, pack your bags, and come to Madrid—because Spanish isn’t just studied; it’s lived in the pulse of its streets.
