China - Shanghai
LTL is an award-winning, global language education group founded in Beijing in 2007. Its core philosophy is total immersion from day one: students don’t just study the language—they live the local culture. As an accredited international community, LTL is designed for motivated learners who want a deep, supportive, and culturally immersive experience that begins the moment they arrive and stays with them forever.
After the Beijing campus’s success, LTL decided to bring its unique model to Shanghai, a city known for its modernity and openness to the world. In 2015, LTL opened its second China campus in one of Shanghai’s most iconic neighborhoods: the Former French Concession.
Unlike Beijing’s political and bureaucratic atmosphere, Shanghai offers a charming mix of French colonial architecture, tree-lined narrow streets, stylish cafés, and boutiques. The branch sits between lively Yongkang Lu and the upscale IAPM mall, just a three-minute walk from South Shaanxi Road metro station—making it easy for students to explore the city on foot or by public transport.
The Shanghai campus offers the same high-quality programs as Beijing (small groups, one-on-one lessons, and combined courses), but with a local Shanghai flavor. Special attention is given to visits to landmarks like The Bund, Yu Garden, and the Old City. The Former French Concession location itself adds another layer: students can practice Chinese with locals while grabbing coffee or shopping, turning every day into a fresh chance to learn and use the language.
LTL holds a strong portfolio of international accreditations, making it a trusted choice for serious learners. Recognitions like IALC and approvals from German and Swedish education authorities place LTL among top-tier language institutes worldwide.
Several campuses (e.g., Beijing and Saigon) hold core accreditations like CSN, IALC, and HSK. Notably, the Seoul campus recently achieved IALC accreditation—a unique milestone that enhances the value of Korean language certificates for students there.
