Refund Policy

Dear Applicant,
Our refund policy safeguards your legal rights. Please review the following terms carefully before proceeding.

  1. By completing registration or consenting to SAT for Studying Abroad’s services (e.g., Admission Counseling, Visa Assistance, Travel Guidance), you agree to pay the specified fees.
  2. Upon payment confirmation (via email), you gain access to SAT for Studying Abroad’s services as agreed.
  3. All fees paid are subject to the refund policy outlined below.
  4. Unpaid service fees must be settled before services commence. Once payment is confirmed, SAT for Studying Abroad begins processing applications, which cannot be canceled except under conditions specified in this policy.
  5. SAT for Studying Abroad provides pre-departure tutoring to ensure smooth travel processes.
  6. We do not guarantee visa issuance, delays, or cancellations by governments or embassies due to security, political, or other uncontrollable factors.
  7. Applicants receive continuous support from initial contact until academic goals are achieved. SAT for Studying Abroad is not liable for breaches by academic institutions or accommodation providers.
  8. Applicants must confirm they have read and understood this refund policy before payment.
  9. Approved refunds will be processed within 5 working days via bank transfer to the applicant’s account.

Refund and Return Policy

(1) General Cases for Refund Refusal

  1. If tuition is unpaid by the due date and the applicant fails to submit a written withdrawal (14 days before the program start date), enrollment may be terminated. The reservation fee and other expenses are non-refundable.
  2. Changes to study plans (personal/professional) after engaging SAT for Studying Abroad’s services do not qualify for refunds.
  3. Applicants may not request refunds from educational institutions without SAT for Studying Abroad’s knowledge.
  4. No refunds are provided for cancellations after commencing academic programs abroad (per institutional policies).
  5. SAT for Studying Abroad is not responsible for payments made to other institutions or service providers conflicting with our policies.
  6. No refunds for delays caused by third parties (e.g., governments, embassies, institutions).
  7. Fees paid to schools, universities, or accommodation providers are non-refundable upon acceptance. SAT is not a contracting party.
  8. Approved refunds are subject to a $150 USD administrative fee deduction.

(2) Visa and Travel-Related Cases

No refunds if:

  1. Visa interview failure.
  2. Late document submission.
  3. Submission of falsified documents.
  4. Failure to meet embassy requirements without notifying SAT.
  5. Embassy document denial.
  6. Deportation from the destination country.
  7. Visa denial (immigration authority’s decision).

Refunds applicable if:

  1. Withdrawal request submitted 14 days before the program start date (75% tuition refund after $150 USD deduction).
  2. Application rejected by the university/school.
  3. Program cancellation by the institution.
  4. Valid service complaint submitted in writing within 3 days of service receipt.

Cancellation Policy by SAT or Applicant:

By SAT for studying abroad:

We may cancel, modify, or reschedule services due to:

  • Force Majeure (e.g., political unrest, natural disasters, pandemics).
    Applicants may choose:
    1. Program continuation in an alternate location.
    2. Deferral to a future program.
    3. Full refund (after administrative deductions).

Note: Applicants remaining in the program location after cancellation assume all risks.

By Applicant:

  • No refunds for cancellations <14 days before the program start date.
  • 75% tuition refund (plus 100% accommodation refund) if canceled ≥14 days prior.
  • No refunds after course commencement (subject to institutional policies).
  • Early returns for personal reasons are non-refundable.
